Dont know is anyones interested in it,
but now that we won the Louis Vuitton 5-0, who reckons we can go all the way?
based on current peformance i rekon we'll win it.

nd since most of the team isnt kiwi i wouldnt class them as a " nz
team " just as all the other ships are
I'm sorry, but yachting is exceedingly dull.

So I thought I'd become a fan instead, but I failed
on that count too. I watched it on TV once and found a
distraction in the grass growing on my front lawn, which was both
quicker moving and infinitely more exciting.
So now I hate yachting.
perhaps i shouldve read the 'go luna rossa' thread before starting
this......
Can we win the Americas Cup?
Can I give a monkeys cock on the outcome, is a more relevant
question.
yes we can win and yes it will be good for nz. Who cares if an arab
airline is sponsoring it. It is nz muscle on that puppy!!! And on
Alinghi for that matter!! I find it pretty interesting, but yeah
its not for everyone. Go the black boat, give alinghi the BLACK
PLAGUE
Sorry, don't know who 'we" is.
If you're asking if YF can win the America's Cup, then no, we
haven't entered.
we being the country, this is "off topic" so techincally nada to do
with yellow fever ay. But who knows in the future yellow fever
could be powerful enough to sponsor a space race to the moon who
knows

What he said.
i thought the majoirty of team new zealand were in fact kiwis?
and theres a few kiwis on Alinghi, and other teams for that fact, so either way i guess we win but it would be better if the team with NZL92 on the sail won

the whole event is practically a new zealand event it just has lots
of foreign cash!!! We win and they look good for picking the right
horse.
The good thig if we win is the next series will most likely be held
in New Zealand read Auckland. This has to be a good chance for some
people to make money plus the GST and tax take for the government.
That is why i hope they win.
Yeah, but they said that last time it was here and the only people
who seem to make any dosh out of it are the t**sers who own the
bars at the waterfront, charge $9.00 for a bottle of Stella and
have a knuckle-dragging cro-magnon on the door who is programmed
only to say "sorry maaaaate, those shoes is casual".
And furthermore, I think the real question is, can we
stand seeing so many pairs of boatshoes on our streets again?
I know I can't.
