missed the first 10 or so minutes, but Celtic were a goal down although looking the more dangerous.  They equalised but then conceeded a penalty which also got their keeper sent off.  2-1 to Rangers at the half, so this bet is not looking great.

Don't really like betting on West Ham games, as I get annoyed enough as it is - losing money on the games just make me more depressed.  Chucking a couple of quid on there being more than 3.5 goals in the game (total goals ï¿½2 @ 3.75)

In the Europa League side Chelsea vs Perennial strugglers Liverpool game, there are loads of bets related to Torres, but I just don't have an idea what he will do.  If you could get a bet on him being ineffectual for most of the game, but scoring, that would be the way to go.  I think it will be a niggly, scrappy game with not too many goals, but plenty of bookings. (Booking points over 55 - 3 @ 2.00)  Note: it is Yellow Card (10pts) | Red Card (25pts) | Max Per Player = 35pts

Final bet is the Superbowl, and as mentioned earlier, I have received advice from the States.  When only 1 country in the world knows anything about a sport, I tend to follow any advice I can get from there. (Steelers 2 @ 2.30, and total points less than 44 2 @ 1.91)

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite

UK Super League starts up this weekend, wonder if the TAB will offer handicaps again. By the end of last season they only had the Head to Head options, so I had to use Centrebet to place bets.

With the handicaps the UK bookies are offering, I would back Salford -2 / Castleford -8 / Leeds -6.

I have never really bet on the Super League, but it does seem quite predictable - ie, the better teams usually win.  Might have a look at some of the handicap bets later this week (as it is painfully obvious that I know f**k all about football and american football).

Those are the 3 that looks best to me.

If you were to back it aswell, sooner might be better. The handicap for Castleford started out at -4, and been moving with money going on them. They play a derby game against Wakefield, but it looks a very weak Wakefield side. The club went into administration last week, and their first team lost in pre-season to Huddersfield reserves and got hammered by Bradford.

Does anyone here use bet 365?

Got a nice payout from the superbowl.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

So there is many on a football match tomorrow morning and I am looking at putting together a multi. Aim is to win at around $10.

So far I have put together:

Greece to beat Canada by 2 or more ($2.20)
Netherlands to beat Austria by 2 or more ($2)

Any other ideas from you'se people?

(I am very, very tempted to include Sydney by one goal but can't bring myself to do it)

Don't underestimate Canada. Our new kit is so horrible, Greece will surrender out of pity

also, Greece traditionally don't score a lot of goals (although I haven't seen any of their results recently).

In any involving Canada I recommend putting money on Alex Bunbury to score.

Coming out of retirement to compensate for his son's "defection"?

No idea about his son - I just know that the Bun was a West Ham player and therefore a leg end.

This is true. His son Teal recently declared for the USA, and does not play for West Ham.

Teal sounds like a c**t (and I am only saying this because he does not play for West Ham)

So took a $5 Multi (albiet one with 7 options that still only pays $60) on todays football.

Hungary have beaten Azerbaijan ($1.60)
Greece have beaten Canada (went on the head to head - $1.42)
Switzerland have to destory Moosecat's boys by 2 or more ($1.75 -  has me worried, all todays games are ending as 1-0 yawn fests)
Slovakia have to get past Luxembourg ($1.22)
Netherlands have to beat Austria ($1.33)
Spain to beat Colombia ($1.18)
CCM have beaten Gold Coast ($1.60 - Taken when CCM was 1-0 up)

UPDATE!!!!:

Netherlands are 1 up against Austria
Switzerland are 0-0 with Malta after 47 minutes.... Need 2 goals!
Spain and Colombia only just started
Slovakia and Luxemborg are tied at one.

Not liking my chances.

Most other UK bookies have odds up now. Hopefully William Hill will put them up soon. Centrebet & TAB put their odds up on Fridays last season.

International friendlies are something that I tend to never bet on, as they are so unpredictable.  It is also very frustrating to watch games where everyone is strolling around and you need another goal/booking/corner/pitch invader/manager to be sent to the stands.

TAB isnt offering point starts, so put this on at Centrebet:

$15 on Salford -4.5 / Leeds -7.5 / Castleford -7.5, returning $100.18
$5 on Salford 13+ / Leeds 13+ / Castleford 13+, returning $84.18

Bets for today

Arsenal vs Wolves = Penalty to be awarded and scored 2 @ 4.50.
Man Utd vs Man City = Draw 2 @ 3.50
West Brom vs West Ham = West Ham to win 2 @ 3.80
Perennial strugglers Liverpool vs Wigan = Double result Perennial strugglers Liverpool/Perennial strugglers Liverpool 2 @ 1.85

I am also going crazy on advice from Ryan's Rovers and putting 5 on Castleford (-7.5) against Wakefield @1.80.

Castleford 40 - Wakefield 20

Sooooooooooo many penalties, made for a scrappy game. Castleford's goal kicking will cost them a few games this season again.

Thats the easy leg of my bets in.

Quite a few injuries in earlier games, Warrington had 5 injured and ended their game against Huddersfield with 11 men. Hudds won that game, and Catalans appear to be bad away from home again, losing to Harlequins.

back to -7.86

bets for today are as follows:

QPR vs Nottingham Forest - Forest have won about 8 in a row, while QPR are top of the league so there are good arguements for betting on both of these teams to win.  I actually think Forest will win by the odd goal, but am going to bet on Taarabt to score.  He is by far the best player in the division, and is the sort of player who will turn up in the big games. (Taarabt to score at anytime 3 @ 2.25)

Bolton vs Everton - Bolton in a bit of dire run at the moment, and Everton will be strengthened by the return of the Samoan Salmon, Timmy Cahill.  Jermaine Beckford is starting to get used to the premier league now, and is being used as an impact sub, coming on with 20 or 30 minutes to go.  I fancy him to score late, and the odds are as attractive as a bacon sandwhich.  (Beckford to be the last goalscorer - 2 @ 8.00)

For the Beckford bet, if he doesn't make it onto the pitch do you get a refund... because if you do, I think thats very nice money.

Not sure who you bet with so don't know the odds but Shane Watson Top Run Scorer at the World Cup might be a useful bet.

Three for me, and two for them.
