My friend and I were doing catch up last week, He said that he'd been to LA to catch up with
this guy, Bombino,who we'd met in Agades, Niger. in 2002. Greatest guitarist ever? Probably not but a lot of fun in any case...

Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Alex Zilinski isn't too bad either. He's austrian, played with a few bands - The Ian Paice band, Blue Jade, Atom Smash.
