Maybe you just didn't know where to look

I simply assumed everyone liked a bit of horsey porn every once in a while...maybe I'm wrong.

Well, I'm sure horses like it. Reminds me of a joke:

Q: Why did the walrus go to the tupperware party?

A: He wanted a tight seal.

There you go people in Wellington!!!

As it happens I'm on the North Shore for work next week, so I'll pop in in person - never one to miss good Pizza.

Infact, a list of other worthwhile eateries would be good for this out of towner.

Curry houses particularly.

Not on the Shore but in town - Middle East cafe, Wakefield Street.  30 years or so of the best Shwarma and Falafel in New Zealand (24 years of my patronage).  I recommend the Lamb Chwarma with a bowl of each sauce to drown it in (if you take out just ask for it with both sauces), washed down with a fresh squeezed Orange Juice.

Draw them a camel while you're there HH.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Can't remember any curry houses but GPK in Taka and there was an awesome Japanese restaurant on the main drag in Taka across the road from GPK.

I also remember a really good Vietnamese place but obviously have killed the braincell that stored its location.

Oh, and they've got a Wendy's (burgers not icecreams).

Anyone familiar with Murder Burger on Ponsonby Rd? Heard they're pretty good, I'm hoping to go there before Honduras if only so that I can say I have eaten Ostrich.

I have had the pleasure of eating ostrich, and it was very nice.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Funny that, there was no mention when I was told I'd be going to the leafy burbs of the North Shore. Still,Curry for afternoon tea sounds promising...

This place used to drive me insane when I was a poor student and had to bike past it every day.

Although it has heaps of dessert pizzas, and I've never really got the idea of a dessert pizza.

Ha! I wasn't trying to say that it wouldn't have tasted good. But whenever I actually got to go there I was more concerned about using scarce available funds for pizza pizza and wasn't too concerned about dessert.
50c soft serves at McDs tended to cover that base.
