I'm guessing he's batting low because of his inexperience. Also he's not a traditional 4-day batsman in the fact that he certainly gets on with it (45 from 48 and 39 from 45 so far this match). From what I've seen (nothing this match. I was planning to go tomo...sigh) he's got a ton of potential. And talking to my coach (who's a Canterbury Selector - I feel like a Name dropping whore ) he reckons hes future Black cap material.
