Surely Franklin selects himself? Good left arm strike bowler who scores first class double hundereds and hits big sixes. I have to say I think Flynn would make way for a team with both Oram and Franklin.
Harsh, but there is plenty of time for him to try to force his way back in. unless you drop Fulton again and put Flynn at 5, or at 3...which is mickeying him about. One of the reasons for his success is probably that he is in the right place in batting order for him at the moment. Though I'm sure he could cope with 5.
Flynn has deservedly earned plaudits, but two world class all rounders would be great. The other option would be Franklin for Southee if big Jake were fit too. weakens the bowling a bit, but is a strong strong batting line up.
