Can someone explain to me why leg-byes are considered in the same category as No-Balls and Wides. Smithy has just been going on about how disciplined our bowlers have been only conceeding 6 extras, a wide, a leg bye and 4 no balls. To my way of thinking the bowler has very little control over whether the ball hits the pads and goes for runs. Has always confused and frustrated me when someone says "and they conceeded 25 extras", for f**ks sake 20 of them were leg byes. Anyone care to explain?
