There's lots of little hints pointing to who it is in those recent daily mirror (edit, meant daily mail) articles. One of the more obvious ones was the quote by Vincent saying he met with Mr X at a service station near Nottingham. You won't have to look far to find out the person tied up in all this who played with Vincent in the ICL, played all his county cricket for Nottinghamshire, lived in Nottingham while working for Nottingham Forrest FC for a few years after retiring from cricket. There's a few more hints but that sealed it for me.
