Harmon is rather mistaken if he thinks the Basin would only draw 7,500 for an ODI. The supposed capacity is 11,000 and it has had that many in on several occasions. Besides, there has been discussion about adding capacity with another stand on the Cambridge/Kent Terrace side of the ground for years. Through the whole Petone saga I believed that adjusting the existing venues in town would have been a better option for the region as a whole.
