The irony is not lost. the stadium design was chosen for the very reason - cricket. Teh Black Craps were expected to be be really good in the mid 90's till now and that never happened so after three years or so, the numbers attending dropped. They should have gone for the square with rounded corners in the first place.

Secondly, the basin could have had an extra seating upstairs bar for that stupid roof design. They should pull it down and build it properly and to be honest, rip down that old pathetic stand and extend the main stand to incorporate that whole area and a bit further along. I reckon you'd get another 5-7k in there if it was done properly.
