I've stopped watching the cricket from Australia after Warner's "speak English" outburst to Sharma.

It's not in the spirit of the game. I find it offensive. I did not enjoy watching the game following the incident, and turned it off. I don't think I will be back.

The Channel9 commentators refused to comment on the fact he had said "speak English". In fact, they seemed to revel in his confrontational approach, giggling and commenting "He's always involved". They were celebrating his mongrel fighting qualities.

Australian players don't speak Hindi when they tour India.

Thankfully Cricket Australia have at least pulled out a wet bus ticket to slap Warner over the wrists with:

But elsewhere Warner's comments show a complete lack of understanding in my opinion:

'We play hard aggressive cricket but we know what comes with it, sometimes you are going to get fined.

'We've just got to keep trying not to cross that line, because we're all about playing cricket the right way.

'When I went over to say something to him, he sort of said something in their language and I said "speak English" because, if you're going to say something, understand that theoretically I cannot speak Hindi,".

'I did the polite thing and asked him to speak English, therefore he did and I can't repeat what he said.'

'I was in the wrong ... I shouldn't have engaged him.'

"Theoretically"? Whay say that? Does he mean he can actually speak Hinidi?

Did the polite thing... asked. Yeah, Right! He demanded agressively and spat the words. Three times too!

Warner and Cricket Australia are living in a delusional world. He bends down and kisses the pitch when on 63* and they bang on about the spirt of Phillip Hughes and emotion and the way they play the game having changed, and they are just full of it and full of themselves. They are a disgrace.

Can't disagree with anything you said, but I suspect it is another typical anti Oz thread.
