To be fair to the Saffas they didn't choke - either team could have one, both had chances, both showed nerves, both made their share of mistakes. Their class and humility in defeat has been most impressive.

Yeah I agree, but that's not going to help them banish that choking tag, which is why I feel sorry for them. On another note, it's great to come to work in the morning and have so many people buzzing about the cricket

To be fair, NZ are now actually living up to their potential that they have had for such a while but never delivered on. They have made it all happen in a timely fashion to peak right here so that's very good planning from them. The South Africans bowled and fielded across the whole innings better than we did in our but we never had to lash out and take risks when batting to get there (other than McCullums 1st 5 over cameo). I think if they look at the game again, I doubt South Africa would change anything other than how they handled the runout of Anderson and breaking the stumps correctly. NZ on the other hand let SA hit so many straight and never adjusted the field to get the 2 on the boundary straighter to stop those 4s. I suspect they will also want to address running between the wickets.

I heard this morning that the other semi has seen the majority of tickets sold to Indians so that will be interesting for that game. I still don't think Australia will lose in Australia but when you consider its a 1 off and the form NZ are in (and over achieved to be in the last 2 considering their ranking of 4) then anything can happen.
