Just saw that Kumar Sangakkara is finally retiring from tests. 12,000 runs (5th highest of all time), 38 centuries, 11 double-centuries (2nd only to Bradman), all at an average of 58. He was the fastest player to 8,000, 9,000, 11,000 and 12,000 test runs, and joint fastest to 10,000.

What an absolute legend of the game.

He's also sitting on 199 test dismissals - hopefully he picks up a catch in one of his last couple of games.

What an absolute legend of the game.
