Agreed. Limited overs bowling, especially for spinners, is about keeping it tight and keeping pressure on but wrist-spinners are just that much more likely to bowl a full toss or a rank long hop and relieve the pressure. You can afford to do that on a 4th or 5th day test pitch with runs on the board because the next ball might rip and turn, but in a T20 or ODI there's less margin for error. That's what made Vettori such a great limited overs bowler - he might not have turned it much but he had so much control he was just impossible to get away. THat pressure helped other bowlers and increased the chances of run outs too as the batsmen tried to keep the run rate up.
