We lost 4 quick wickets in the middle order.  None of which had anything to do with lack of application.  The nature of cricket is you sometimes get a run of wickets.  The only batsman I can think of with a lack of application is Southee, and I think he should bat 11 until he learns to bat unselfishly, but its not really his responsibility to score runs.
