A big step in the right direction for NZ womens cricket.  They aren't making much in comparison to men, but at least now some of them will be able to be full time athletes.

It's great. We were lucky enough to have Suzie MacDonald from the Blaze and even better, Sophie Devine play a game for us two seasons ago. They were great to chat to, proper professionals even when filling in at a lower men's grade and work their backsides off regardless. Watched quite a bit of Women's T20 last season and really enjoyed it.
