combination of the aussies being very good and in form and a lack of preparation from our side, two meaningless tests against a 2nd string English side in NZ conditions were not the bets prep for the aussie conditions.
Weak excuses
not excuses, just things that NZC should have been able to forsee and make the necessary arrangements to better prepare the team. For mine, we should have sent the team to play in Aussie over there to play one, if not two warm up matches and let our development players play the England side in the second test. The English series was meaningless anyway, it didn't count towards the test championship rankings.
