Oh yeah, I know Franky is the man and all and should be in every limited overs team, but what has he done to be included in the test side? Slightly baffled by his inclusion again.
I disagree with that - he has no place in a limited overs side edit: as an allrounder, (there is an argument to include him as a batsman, but I think there are better batsmen out there), his bowling just far to expensive. His use is as a test allrounder where we need/want a fourth seamer, and also need the batting he provides - we can't afford to carry four specialist seamers that don't bat if we want to include a spinner that doesn't bat aswell. If Astle was there as the spinner you could probably get away with Bracewell Southee Boult and Martin/Wagner, but not with Patel.
