David White's comments that 'Bond wasn't in the room' is an irrelevant nothing. Surely logic states that in any subsequent coaches meetings where changes to captaincy were discussed (I can't imagine that a change like that would only be discussed in one meeting and then left alone) that Hesson would have mentioned at some point he intended Taylor to be kept on as test captain. There is just spin upon lies and lies upon spin.
According to NZC (especially since Hesson was described as a great communicator) both Shane Bond and Ross Taylor must be idiots that can't understand plain english to misinterpret what was apparently made pretty clear that the split captaincy was the desired outcome.
