By sickness, death's herald, and champion;"

Hang on again!

You do an ad for whipping boys, but you won't let a pro-golfer pay you squillions to whip him?

I was being facetious re the ad... and he never offered me squillions & I had no idea who he was till he said 'do you know who i am" while I was rolling around giggling... and after he told me I still didn't

whipping shd be a hobby not for monetary value

Can't separate the wood from the trees? Maybe a fair way of looking at things. Certainly a bit rough on the other posters, even we are a bit green.

Well I suppose if we get back on topic, there is life after sport - if you are a golfer.

one thing I think this discussion so far has missed is the fact that many professional players in all sports end up going into coaching, managing and administration of their code after their playing days are over. So they never really leave the sport at all.

Would that really be a very high percentage? Quite a few do also go on to being performance coaches,or physiotherapists. That does also sort of count.
