God, I hate Dire Straits.

Sorry, LG.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

That's ok, I hate Culture Club and most other music from the late 80's, 90's and 00's. Most of it is repetitive computer created crap.

Not really but I think if I could travel back in time, I'd shoot Stockman, Waterman and Aitken when they were 10 years old and thuse save the world from their type of music. And whoever wrote for the Spice Girls and every "Boy" band!

So '68 was a good year for you too, FM?

Hit the 40 myself earlier in the year, made up a few CD's with songs that brought back memories (good and bad), things I used to sit and listen to while watching tv, influences from my sister, stuff I picked up while I lived in the UK, all sorts of crap and put them on discs forming a sort of timeline. Went down reasonably well 'cos each disc had a bit of everything. Was more background music than something for people to dance to, but they did that too. Was a good night, 60's theme, I wore what I was wearing in the 60's.

What ever you do, put the player in the other room (and lock it) with audio cabling to your speakers in the main room so that you don't end up with every dumbass changing the music half way through the song. phil_style2008-03-17 23:42:26
