Paddy Maloney RIP Co-founder and leading force behind the greatest Irish folk group of all time, the Chieftains, aged 83. They recorded 44 albums 1964 - 2012 Beloved by many generations through their collaborations with contemporary stars such as U2, The Pogues, Sting, Sinead O'Connor, Elvis Costello, the Rolling Stones, The Who, Mark Knopfler and Van Morrison. They contributed to the film soundtracks of "Braveheart", 'Gangs of New York" and "Barry Lyndon".
