I disagree. Kill all the cats.
I don't really disagree but I do think people have far to much liberty to own cats, drive cars and breed and without justification nor thorough forethought nor consideration of wider consequences, global resources, and wild life.
Although I challenge any of you to justify your ownership of a cat without recourse to your own selfish desires.
How much do you spend on your cat? How many humans or other animals could these funds save? How much climate research could be done with the national cat food surplus?
Just how bad would the consequences of cat ownership have to be for you to say "no more kitties"?
Yeah but 99% of people are nowhere near as cool, funny or furry as Cats. Most animals also suck compared to cats unless they are a different sort of cat. Sorry but if I had the choice of a Tui, human slave or a cat as a pet I'd choose a cat every time.
and the phrase "no more kitties" is an oxymoron.
The cat would choose itself over a human slave and a Tui also.
But the cat doesn't have to choose because it already has a human slave and a dead Tui. And don't forget about Skinks! There are native ones and they have been driven to near extinction, mostly by cats.
Won't someone please think of the lizards!!!
