Fucking kids today.

This was after I used his account to rage at a team in a battle he had played and call them all fucking idiots.

I witnessed some new levels of stupid yesterday.

Lemming trains on Arctic leaving me as the only one covering a whole side. Twice!

Three battles where we lost because people with every chance to reset the cap didn't when we were capping at the other end.

...and don't even start me on the lower tier stuff.

Went 70% over the weekend in Tier VII though which considering the number of people out in Tier VII I was pretty happy with for debuting the T25/2 which is quite rubbish.  Didn't even use the 122-44 as the weekend rewards were premium excempt.

Mid week Tier V mission looks amusing as well.

Project T80 - Running at 70% in 20 battles.  30 more to get the full reward benefits.

Project T-62A - On hold.  A couple of 85 battles Saturday but with so many good Tier VII pilots out decided I'd run the old T-34 instead and went really well in it.  Which was nice.  Suspect I'll keep it.

My win rate has taken a pounding in the last 48 hours.  Barely above 50%.

Think MM is trolling me as teams collapse around me.  Not helped by taking a shit tank into Tier 7s and going brawling with the SU-76 (5 kills until I ran into an Alecto and a T-28).

I like the SU-100 although they seem to die alot.

So the T25/2 whats that like compared to the AT? Are you going all the way and maxing out the USA TD line?

I'm probably going to. Bored of the slow moving french TD's.

Wow first game with a stock Jagpanther (and I am a below average player).  I am liking this tank already

Hey Chilli.  Welcome to the Fever WoT club.  My grand scheme is to run a Jagdpanther but I'm waiting for a half-price JgPz IV before I go up that tree as I have plenty of other tanks on the go currently.

Fort.  A question for you.  What gun do you rate on the Bathtub?  I have gone from the 17-pounder to the 90 and the 90 has been awful in the few battles I have run it in.  Have just (last night) put the 105 on it but the reload looks horrifying.

Not sure about the US TD line as the T28 Prot doesn't have a ringing endorsement from people.  Apparently it is spectacularly slow (in relation to your French TD points).  I am tempted to run the Jackson as the T25 AT looks quite good and at least comes with a gun that can make holes in things.  The T25/2 comes with the Hellcat gun and gets a slightly better Hellcat gun which is okay in a Tier VII fight (above) but not much use in Tier VIII and above.  I don't have the top gun on it yet.

My win rate in it has taken a bath so where I was around 70% in the first 10 battles it has slipped to 47%.  Some my fault, some due to very poor teams.  I would say the jury is still out on if I like it.  I have got a Mastery 3 in it but that game above was the first time I felt we have really bonded.  Helped by the map and some odd tactics from the other team.

I should (sometime) push on to the SU-100.  I have never gone ahead of the Su-85b on that line.  I get distracted by stupid ideas like doing 50 battles in the T-80 as it is 'tank of the month'.  Up to 41 out of 50 at a (just) over 50% win rate.

Yes, definitely go for the SU-100, it is one of my favourite TDs and really fun to play.  More than the SU-152.  I am grinding for the ISU-152 now

Hey Chilli good to have you on board.

re the 105:

The reload even with a rammer is around 8-9 seconds. I've not played this much since the patch but the gun suffers a little against good sloped armor. If you get a good shot in then it will piss on anyone's chips with the MM you get thrown into. It's a great gun. It is devastating.

If you can live with the reload

With it's slow slow speed and ok armor it's a good ambusher or defender but that's it. think the other end of the spectrum to the hellcat. I used to love slow moving derpy TD's but they annoy me now.

You're going to be sorely tempted by the new german Tier VII Premium TD then.  Apparently it's like an EMC crossed with a Hetzer.

You should also have a play in the SU-122-44 on the test server when 8.7 goes into common test...

Also give the SU100Y a go on the test server -its comedy gold, even when losing

I arrested my slide yesterday.  Mainly thanks to Munk and Mrs. Munk.  Platooning makes a ridiculous difference

6 battles to go in the T-80.  See if I can maintain my over 60% win rate in it.  Probably no tanking tonight due to work but hello wet weekend.

Finished the 'tank of the month' on the T-80 at 56%.  Match Maker must have known as it trolled me into six Tier VI battles in a row for my last run of which we won one.  So my win rate dropped from 60 plus in it to to the 56%.

Had a monster carry in the Su-85b.  Picking up 2500+ in damage and 7 kills in a tier V battle on Redshire and picking up a win that was lost for all money when we were down about 13-8 and they had cleared us off the hill.  Would have to rank as one of my best games.  Showed patience and relied on some stupid in the other team.

Don't think I screen capped the results page unfortunately.

The Jagd pzIV insane machine, you either win and kill a lot or get one-shotted.

Highpoint of this tank so far: Brawling with a VK28.01 tank in the middle of a street in the town in the Lakeville map. He fired 3 shots missing me and I finished him off with 2. How a nimble little beast like the VK could not kill a big-arsed old girl like the Jagd I'll never know.

Artic region -team collapses as per usual - its me and Sig in our T4 SU85b's left vs a KV1S, 2x KV1, a  grille,a T28, a Hetzer and 1 Su85b - 7 vs 2 -did we die?

Like buggery we did -we defended our arses off, Sig got killed with 3 left -we finished with 5 kills each - Ill say it again, the SU85b is an awesome tank (Destroyer)

Bastard Hetzer...  if I hadn't caught fire I'd have had him.

I picked up three of the 250k bonuses in the Russian tanks at the weekend (I believe Munk got five) and I ground the experience on the T-28 to elite it just in time to sell it.  It seemed a good time seeing as it was half price and generated 1.5x for the weekend.

I came to quite like it.  Apart from Match-Maker repeatedly giving me Tier IV battles I did manage Mastery 3,2,1 in consecutive battles and had some good runs in it.  I ran the the T-34-85 crew in it and had it at 70% after Saturday but dropped to 57% by the end as I got city map after city map and Tier VI after Tier VI.

I did NOT buy a KV-1 after I completed it.

After a weekend where I only ran Russian tanks I will now change my filters to see the rest of my garage again.

I did re-buy a BT-7 having got through my grinds, although having sent the crew for it to the T-34-85 I'm back to being miles off having sixth sense in it.  I'm running my MS-1 crew with a T-46 trained third man.  If wargaming realise Perks work on other tanks I am stuffed as I currently have no crew in the T25/2, one crew for three French TDs, and one crew for three Russian lights.

This weeks scout midweek mission is likely to be a pain in the arse.

I got an SU-85 last night.  Only five battles in but I'm a fan.

Running the middle gun (the first 85mm) and it's pretty good.  if it is a step up with the good gun as it sounds like it is I'm going to enjoy this.  Think STuG with more ammo and (in my case) a crew with 6th sense albeit running at mid 80% skill as I'm using my SU-85b crew.

TD manouveurs this month.  Suspect Munk already has a lock on 3k gold in both the Su-85b and the T40 with 1500 experience battles in each.  Already thinking of ways to get opportunities to extend that.

Oh is Fort doing the 320km about Taupo again?

I fear the 320.

Yes I probably will but it's not something you just say you are going to do, it takes preparation and some major commitment. I am in far worst shape this time around.

It destroys your basic love of cycling for about 10 weeks afterwards as the last thing you want to look at or ride is a bike. It killed the rest of my summer after November as I'm not a major fitness freak and I just wanted to sit around and drink beer. I was not part of a team or group and it is difficult if you don't have that structure.

160km is a piece of cake. anyone who has ridden about 80km in one go can do it.

I think it's harder this time as I've already done it if that makes sense.

The 320km is something else.

Taupo is a little hilly.

The preparation is silly. Long friggin rides up to taihapepe and the foxton straight. Long distance cycling is not pleasant in this neck of the woods.

I watched so many folk fall apart just on the 160km. I've got to stop offering a helping hand when folk are messed up you have to be a bit ruthless which I struggle with.

grr I dunno.

This season I just wanted to grab the Surly and head off and play on those hills past Wanganui. Camp out and do that.
