Those bastards on telly whining about how we should sponsor a child and probably don't sponsor any themselves and get paid for the advertising. I've got 3 already and it's hard enough feeding them.

Also now on TV2 after midnight is an SPCA type advert asking you to sponsor an animal - yes, an animal overseas for a mere $25 per month. Naturally, they show you all the most degrading clips of some very badly mistreated animals for the purpose of pulling at your heart strings.
So that's $25 per month for the Animal and another $30 per month for a child - all overseas. No wonder there's no money left for Kiwi Saver or feeding our own families.
