yes, and the Maori party believes in Maori values - now, how does that differ from European values? because it differs from Act, Greens, National, Labour etc because those are Eurocentric parties. You can't have "Maori" ideals withut the word "Maori" - you can, however, have European values without the word European - that's the point of differentation.

The Maori party is for all NZers - including non-Maori - who feel Maori issues are the most important issue for them. Hence why I support their legitimacy (though I myself will never vote for them).The only way in which they appeal strictly to Maori voters is that they only run candidates in the Maori electorates.
