I may just be speaking for myself here, but i think we all try and enjoy the World Cup for what it is, a month long festival of football that brings together a world of different cultures and races, and try to focus less on any negative aspects surrounding the cup.
similar to how german villagers went about their daily lives during the war only focusing on the positives...
actually I wasn't trying to start a discussion about that simply pointing out to Cosimo that his worrying about refugees escaping crap conditions is ironic since we're all celebrating something that has forced thousands into crap conditions
