dammed if you do and dammed if you don't... lol many a guy complains about how woman don't like simple courtesy these days and maybe Dairyflat was just being gentlemanly which sure shdn't be needed but hey its hardly a crime. and I wd reiterate she's only 15 so prob isnt thinking about the bigger picture and is hardly a strong woman as far as dealing with personal critiscism

The ironic thing is that Dairyflat more than anyone on here prob agrees with you about media and the general public's ignoring of things relating to the poorer/darker inhabitants of our planet. He's often trying to educate us all and I'm sure he often feels frustrated so many of us ignore his political threads. personally I think its also ironic being upset about people's ignoring refugees on a forum about the world cup where we all tightly keep our blinkers on and don't discuss that Sth Africa forced hundreds of thousands of the poor & black into what many equate to concentration camps to get them out of the way of these flash new stadiums

Dairyflat could've argued my point but chose not to, instead he deflected by saying I was being misogynistic. Whether or not people ignore his political threads is a strawman argument. Also, there is no irony in ignoring refugees in a world cup forum in this context. I'm not comparing Abby Sunderland's case to the World Cup, or holding the World Cup to be the pillar of moral good, so it is fallacious to introduce it to the argument, which stands: Abby Sunderland's media coverage pisses me off.
