Was a ring in for a friends twilight team up at Te Whaea and we had a game against the second top team, who were a bunch of guys who seemed late 20s early 30s and apparently played for some reasonable teams around wgtn (in contrast we were 18-20 and had one player who was in Olympic 2nds for a while).
We somehow managed to be 3-0 up at half time, and I even got a couple nutmegs and an assist.
Then we lost 4-3 conceding the 4th with 20 seconds to play. (It was a f**king nice goal though, touch, lob, header over me, rifled volley top corner).
Am gutted though.
