Just got call from some indian call centre bro trying to scam me into allowing remote access to my computer by posing as a microsoft technician.
I'm fairly computer savvy and realised pretty much immediately that there was no way anyone from msoft would call you but played along for a laugh. The funniest part was when he got me to navigate to the windows info file directory then asked me how many files were there. "Are there more than say, 10 files?" (but of course there are more than 10 files in win inf) so I told him there were 1200 and he goes: "Oh god... my god, your computer, it's in critical condition"
Then he tried to get me to open www.logmein123.com, yeah like that's not suspicious.
But the thing that pisses me off is, how the hell do these guys have my phone number?

I had something similar a couple of weeks ago. I managed tos tall them for about 20 minutes, stifling laughter as I went. I figured that the longer they were talking to me, the longer it'd be before they tried to scam somebody else.
It was probably a futile effort, in hindsight, but it sure was entertaining.
