Back in the day there was a lot of a thrill in being able to physically light the fuse and destroy something (mostly old plastic models). Jnr Jnr lit his first pissy little ground spinning firework and was stoked.

There really is a lot of satisfaction in being able to blow things up that is being denied to our yoof of today.

This is exactly the reason it should be denied. If they get great satisfaction out of something so small can you imagine what they would be like if they were allowed to upgrade to something larger?

At least when we were younger we would accept responsibilty if we broke ourselves when playing with dangerous objects.

I still remember my mother telling me "It's your own stupid fault" for being knocked off my bike when riding over my neighbours driveway when he was reversing his car out.

If that were to happen nowadays then my neighbour would be charged with reckless driving or similar because I was stupid enough to run into his car!

NB - This is not a personal attack on you Junior82, just a general rant aimed at the stoopid folk who walk among us!
