Got a door knocker about four months ago whose sole purpose was to convert telstra customers to vodafone/skytv with the promise of more (125% more bandwidth + better interactive tv) for less (about $10-15 cheaper per month) and a guarantee of no sign up charges whatsoever. Our internet randomly stops working so we call them and they say we haven't paid a re-wiring fee ($250) or a mysky sign up fee ($50) both of which we specifically asked about before we signed anything. "no extra charges" was the guy's answer.
