Maybe you should all ask Siri what "Brainwashed" means!!!

So lining up at midnight for a release of a Game is ok though right? ;-)

This cold I've got. 3 and a half days off work last week and still feeling like shit. Lacking in energy something fierce. Nobody minds if I nap in the Fever Zone tomorrow right?

Get someone to go out and grab some turmeric, ginger, garlic, a lemon, chillies, thyme, (dried will do), chicken stock or chicken pieces and stick the lot in an oven proof dish with a lid with any vegetables you have and make yourself a broth. Squeeze in the lemon juice and just some of the grated rind. Stick in plenty of pepper and a bit of salt.

Whilst out there grab some coconut water - chill and drink as it's full of electrolytes.

preheat the oven at around 180 and slowly cook with a lid on for an hour. Chicken is rich in Choline and they reckon it inhibits neutrophils that help with the bodies defenses but in doing so make you feel like sh*t.

This works.

If you are still feeling poorly by tuesday consider going to see a doc.

Staff at places like Burger Fuel and Nandos who wear a glove on just one hand, and so use the gloved hand for using utensils and holding the box or bag open while handling the food with the ungloved hand. Has to be deliberate, surely they're not absolutely oblivious to it are they?

To be fair, there is a reason why some of those people are food service workers and not accountants, lawyers etc. 6 inches of bone between the ears.

I am not surprised you are the one that replied because you get your back up over anything. I thought I would help you out and highlight the key word.

I said 'some' not 'all' because I understand that for some people its a means to an ends while studying etc, a stepping stone to something else, or those that have made it a career. Its pretty obvious I am not talking about those people because those that are moving on from it are not sticking in that industry (and most likely have a higher career calling and thus brain function to know how to use the glove) and a chance that those that have made it a career would not do that.

Its those that have been lucky enough to find it to this level yet still be incompetent, like the example above. I would have expected you to understand the difference more so the fact that you seem to feel slighted yet don't feel the need to go 'yup, only a dumb ass would handle the food with the non-gloved hand'. That is what a considered response would be for idiots in that profession that drag the name of it down for others down. You wont see me going 'how dare you slam chiros' if another chiropractor is convicted of medical misconduct and gets abused over it. Those dicks are better off out of it. Maybe you are feeling guilty about your own role? (Now you can tell me to go get fucked)

Just listened to them for the first time. A pop band. Not a bad thing as some modern pop bands are ok but these are pretty bland.

Mind you I was annoyed when the called Green Day punk...

Yeah, I'm no punk myself but something about the term being applied to the sort of guys who date Avril Lavigne and act as judges on glorified televised karaoke contests like the "Voice Factor Idol" or whatever it's called really grates on me.

Edit: and yeah, I don't think Green Day are punk either. Although they're closer than these guys

WINZ offices that have "Parent please control your children" signs all over the place and then make you wait an hour past your allotted appointment time before seeing you. And they wonder why the children are restless??

Flatmates who come home wasted and proceed to have a yelling match via telephone on and off from 3am.  Still yelling when I left for work at 8.

Don't know how to deal with it.

I reckon you either need new flatmates, or a new flat Tracey. 3am inconsiderateness seems to be a pattern here.

If you are paying the phone bill unplug the phone and keep it in your room and if it is a cordless, just take the handset.
