I know a Hospital Admin and she is awesome at her job, she is tiny but would also rip your lungs out for saying that as she used to run a very dodgy bar and has been a security orderly.
Funny thing is - they're probably going to be *ripping my lung out (the remainder of it anyway). Clearly I'm not dealing with the right persons.
And yes, I get all that FT and it's not their fault but jeezus arse it's frustrating getting the run around because people can't/don't do what they say they're going to do (in this case it was actually a registrar that stuffed up - but admin person gave me the unnecessary attitude, so of course that pissed me off further).

Hmm sorry to hear that you are going through some health issues. Registrars are doctors that been out of training for around 3 years and fully employed. They are just beginning to specialize in their chosen area. They can "stuff up", but it's rarely serious stuff up as they are closely supervised and have a team of nurses, pharmacists, etc also keeping an eye on things.
The admin needs to pull his/her head in. You can't have an attitude in that job. Just remember if you ain't happy with the service you get there is a clear complaints procedure that is taken very seriously by hospitals.
