People who dismiss sport as "just a bunch of grown men chasing a ball around". Fair enough if you don't like sports but there's no need to be a condescending douchebag. I could just as easily dismiss movies, tv shows and theatre as a bunch of people playing make believe.
Perhaps they should be encouraged to watch a DVD of classic drama using sport as a major motif, e.g. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, or Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, or Goalkeeper's Fear of the Pen. etc. etc.
