Is that right????

Yes, it wasn't a typo. I watched this game. 0 - 0 at HT after a fairly even first half. 2nd half was Upper Hutt's with 3 unanswered goals. The  NCR players appeared shell-shocked at the end of the match. The UH supporters also appeared amazed with their team winning, let alone the final 3 - 0 scoreline.

Is this advert filmed at Raumati Hearts? Their name is on the grandstand...

http://www.campaignbrief.com/nz/2017/04/lotto-nzs-...

No, that (a) doesn't look anything like Weka Park, which doesn't have a grandstand, and (b) you can see an Auckland train in the background. It's probably somewhere in South Auckland, although not any ground I've ever played on (maybe actually a rugby ground? Papakura?)

However, if memory serves, RHFC did play in maroon and gold (same colours as nearby Kapiti College).

Reason I asked was in a shot in the video there's a sign on the grandstand saying "Raumati Hearts".

32 seconds in:  http://www.bestadsontv.com/ad/85777/Lotto-NZ-Dyla...

waitemata rugby park off Swanson road. Far too much time on goggle maps but it was nagging away

Sure? At 40-43 seconds there is a big billboard in the background on the fence line right of goal that also appears to say Roumati Hearts

190% it's an existing sign (could be their scoreboard). Neat have been covered for the shoot.

I Reckon Olympic will comfortably go the rest of the season unbeaten and win the cup!

OK so we know you're an Olympic fan then :-)

not actually an Olympic fan but i have been very impressed with their last few results

So, 8 teams left in Wellington, part of me hopes the big 4 (Wests, Olympic, Stop Out and Rapa) draw each other and give the under dogs a chance (Wharfies, Nth Wellington, Palmie Nth Marist and Upper Hutt) to go further, but then some of me says nah we want our big guns to represent our region when it goes national.

I don’t think our (Wellington) teams are as strong as other years.

From all those teams, Wests will back themselves to win it. There is nothing in there that should scare them.

Quarterfinals v Oceania Under-20s will scare them, as will the final v Oceania Under-17s.

Round 3 of the Chatham Cup is this weekend 23/24 June

SATURDAY JUNE 23

Waterside-Karori (CL) v Western Suburbs (CL), Karori Park, KO 2pm

These clubs first met in the Chatham Cup way back in 1924, the second year of the competition, Hospital (as Western Suburbs were known then) running out 2-1 winners over Waterside

In all there have been 22 cup games between the different iterations of these clubs, Waterside Karori winning 10, Wests 11 and 1 draw!

They played each other this weekend just gone in the central league and Wests won 5-1, wouldn't be surprised if its a similar result this week

PICK Western Suburbs

North Wellington (CP) v Upper Hutt City (CP), Alex Moore, KO 2:30pm

repeat of the 2016 fixture where North Wellington won 5-1

before that there were 4 previous meetings between the iterations of these clubs, Upper Hutt United have only won once, a 5-4 win against Johnson Villa back in 1954. The other results include an 8-0 for North Wellington in 1992

Upper Hutt City currently 3rd in the table, 19 points behind North Wellington who are unbeaten this season. Score was 4-3 to North Wellington when they met in the league

PICK North Wellington

Wellington Olympic (CL) v Wairarapa United (CL), Wakefield, KO 5:45pm

Yayyyy a late game so us anoraks can get to see at least two Chatham Cup games in a day!

Both past winners of the cup, this is the first time these clubs will have met as they are. in 1977 Christian Youth (as Olympic were known) lost 2-1 to Masterton, who are now part of Rapa

League meetings this season have both gone to Olympic 2-1 (h) & 4-2 (a)

PICK Olympic in extra time or pens

SUNDAY 24 JUNE

Palmerston North Marist (CRL) v Stop Out (CL), Memorial Park, Palmerston North, KO 2pm

PN Marist unbeaten in the Central Region Premier League (equivalent of Cap Prem) up against Stop Out 3rd in Central League

2 previous meetings in the cup, PN Marist won 2-1 in 2014 and Stop Out won 5-1 last season

PICK Stop Out

They got out muscled last year.  Bay Olympic must had a couple of inches and 10 kilos on average over them and were just stronger in any 50/50 situation.  Not illegal play just much stronger and larger.

Coastal Spirit’s famed defence lived up to its reputation, holding out Cashmere Technical for 120 minutes (first time this season they have been unable to score from open play). But in the only thing that counts, the penalties went Cashmere’s way, 3-2.

Second time as was scoreless between the two sides in round 2 of the MPL back in March.
