Welnix (Morrison) have openly said they will try help out the creation of an Auckland A League team. They know value of having a genuine derby rival. So first step in that could be helping with the formation of an Academy. 

Who knows, but exciting news if so, and hopefully a step in the right direction of the Auckland football community getting together for an A League bid.

Any very wealthy football tragics currently involved with Onehunga or Three Kings?

May not mean much at all but both clubs are pretty close to Mt Smart.

The current president of Three Kings United is Murray Holdaway who set up the Vista software group and is on the NBR rich list with an estimate of about $50 million
