Thought I would pop out and take a look at this game, as hadn't seen the new turf. Talked to a couple of spectators about respective teams. Seems Upper Hutt has been the one with the cheque book out according to their own club members and from what I could gather from LH supporters most of their team are home grown and no big bucks paid as you would expect as they were all virtual unknowns and young.

Game was interesting and if the ref had pulled up the blatant holding and shirt pulling by UH, score line could have been different was not impressed with the deliberate foot to face by Older UH guy in middle of park. If they can't keep up (which it looked liked he was having trouble doing) and have to use these tactics maybe its time to hang up the boots. 

But then again if the refs are not picking it up!!

Any way a Wins a win.

Lighting on turf was not good,dark patchs on either side around half way, Turf  itself looked great.
