Canton certainly has been unpopular on various YF forums which raises the question as to why Clubs are not able to vote for Board members.
If they were answerable to the Clubs this would make them think twice about introducing retrospective regulations as happened with the Division One debacle.
Not sure what planet your federation is on, but recently Capital Football had two (I think) vacancies for elected board members. Clubs put forwards a total of ZERO nominees for those positions.
That's right. ZERO. That's less than one in case you're following at home.
In that context it is impossible to say that the clubs are disenfranchised. Disinterested Uninterested more like.
