You'd have to think they'll continue to hemorrhage social teams if they refuse to make the price competitive with the better leagues on offer.

better leagues?

Yup. Refs and turf every game, much better than the sharke Cap Football gives us. Standard of football is gonna be dire no matter where I'm playing so I'm not too worried about that.

There's no two ways about it - both Wellington Sunday League and Better Football offer better 11 aside options at a significantly lower price for social footballers than Capital Football do, having played in all 3 myself.

you no longer play CF affiliated footy?

My team, which was Cap 6 Olympic last season, is moving to Sunday League because of all the advantages listed above. This will be the first season in 20 years I haven't played Saturday football.

I've played Sundays over summer for 3-4 seasons.

I've got no affiliation with WSL, but I do referee for Better Football for full disclosures sake.

ok fair play

ps Do you shout at yourself when you referee :)

No because I agree with my decisions most of the time!
