Christchurch United have an ambitious plan to once again be at the forefront of football in New Zealand. To complement the clubs Football School and Youth Academy the club is working hard to put together an Elite Mens Programme which will be nationally competitive within the next 3 years. The programme will be led by Fernando Lampert.
Fernando and his team will be running open trials beginning 16 January from 6pm (please arrive by 5:50pm).
On the 16th there will be a brief presentation from the club and from the coaches setting out the clubs vision and a summary of Fernando's approach and expectations.
Additional open trials will be held on 18 and 20 January 2017.
All committed footballers (aged 16+) are encouraged to attend particularly players interested in committing to this exciting project for the next 2-3 years.
Those players who are selected will have the benefit of some of New Zealand's best facilities and most qualified coaches. In addition the club hopes to provide its players with a specialist strengh and conditioning programme and a specialist injury prevention programme.
