the refs weren't miked up like they would have been in a Chatham Cup (ie Men's) game

I know you're trying to call for equality between mens and womens football here - but this is simply untrue. We didn't even have beep flags for the Chatham Cup game I did on Monday, let alone comms.

Actually, Beep flags would have(very likely) been used in two of the wormens cup games given the officials present.
