Quite annoyed at the fact that we'll have rolling subs during the season, but can't during preseason. I know its the Kelly Cup but kinda defeats the purpose of preseason a little.

If W-League clubs want to not roll subs they could choose not to, but some players in other lower level teams struggle with the 90 minute stamina thing.
If I ran the world I'd probably make it W-League teams not rolling subs, lower level teams rolling. Would go a little way toward giving lower level sides a leveller against height competition for this sort of pre season competition.

Yeah just a bit ridiculous that I can make only 2 subs in our first game as a team, when we've announced the squad 5 days earlier. Not sure how I'm supposed to even pretend to compete. However, also not sold that different teams should compete under different rules. To me it makes sense to have rolling subs in preseason, full stop.
Also likely won't be able to field a team this weekend because we play Sunday throughout winter so half the team went and got Homegrown tickets (before it was announced that Prems teams would play Kelly Cup on Saturdays).
