Or Former Lower Hutt players vs Former Upper Hutt Children - I think the cross-fertilisation is pretty-well equal.

Miramar turned out a slightly more experienced team yesterday against Marist.

Was a... err, testy game to put it mildly. Not often as a goalkeeper have I been bobsledded at thigh height

Watched Stop vs Island Bay....Boring. The Bay rolled out their second team and Stop Out were missing a few too.

Went along to have a look. Lower Hutt won despite the referees best efforts! Hope he doesn't turn up in central league!

A complete joke, Tawa defaulted to Stop Out in their last game of the Hilton! Their 2nd team didnt even seem to have a game either?

What other club in Wellington would let this happen? Not good signs for a club who seems to have a central league, cap1 and cap 2 side registered this season...

Due to ground closures finals have been moved to Maidstone Turf  in Upper Hutt apparently

I haven't received confirmation of that yet. It was the likely scenario so would seem a fair assumption. Will let you guys know when I hear more.

Did Olympic win all of their playoff games on penalties?

If so - well done!

Strange why Uni registered with Div 2, seeing as theyre playing Prem this season. Nothing like preparing for what will no doubt be a tough season, by playing some tough pre season games right?

With this tournament being our first for the club, and the fact we got drawn with Olympic (cap prem), Uni (cap prem) and upper Hutt (mix of cap 2 and 5), it was well worth the preseason games for our squad.  Performances against Uni and Olympic were very pleasing considering we were Cap 4 (promoted to Cap 3 for 2013).  Loosing 6-2 to uni and scoring first was a highlight, and just loosing 3-2 to upper hutt was good as well.  Great tournament, and I will not hesitate in Sponsoring the team to enter for 2014.  On another note, congrats UH on a fantastic facility you have at Maidstone Park.  Keep up the good work lads.
