I see some Nike Cup 2014 jockeying as well.

And rumours of some transfers not being allowed in relation to this also.... Fair Enough Mainland stamping their authority with the rules, but why implement half way through the season when players were allowed to move at the start of the season despite being in the rules they had to commit to the team they played for in Nike Cup?
so you definitely know of players who played for one club in Nike 2013 but have played for a different club in the winter Mainland 2013 comp?
btw I thought NZF made the calls not Mainland around Nike?

I could 100% guarantee you of 2 players I know that played for one team in the Nike Cup but were allowed to transfer to another team for the 2013 winter season. Having spoken to another club I know there is at least 1 additional player from that perspective.

Nomads approach to Nike Cup 2014: "we'll build a super team because that's the only way to progress in the comp".
So a number of APFA boys playing for schools have dual registered this year.
Are you sure on this? How many players from the APFA have dual registered to play for clubs then?
For the 2013 Nike Cup Nomads were actually screwed over due to 'poaching' from FC Twenty who tried to raid a number of players after the Nomads coach stepped aside at the end of the previous season. As such a number of players missed out on playing in the 2013 Nike Cup
SE I don't know if it's school and/or clubs.
relative to Nomads I'm thinking they lost players who played Nike 2013 not added. I am wondering if plays denied transfers / clearance can look back a couple of months and say "so and so did, why not me?"
As above, Nomads did lose players after the 2013 Nike Cup (including some that missed out due to other clubs 'poaching')... Coastal lost a player after the tournament too....
As you say Foal, this should be a perfect appeal process for anyone else missing out

there is 2 boys I can think of SE who I'd say historically it's fair to say they are "from Nomads".
Another one obviously a lot less so, but parents will look at options at this level.
And there in lays the problem at times.... Parents!
Sorry for the long post, but thought it better to answer each thing on 1 post rather than 6 separate ones and trolling the page!
