With tonight's result will be a bigger game next Saturday between Bays and Technical as will also be a Shield Challenge.

bays season hanging on a thread with Coastal the better team on the night, riding their luck a little as 2nd week in a row opposition had a goal disallowed.

Yes with tonights result Bays grip on the championship looks to be over, will now need both Tech and Suburbs to drop most of their remaining games for a hat-trick of titles.

Even if Bays win their last three games - Tech at home, Western away and Halswell at home they would finish with 44 points which would be the lowest numbers of points in a 21 game if the did finish on top.
