Player development is more than being in the winning team. Those that fail to recognize this remain the single biggest obstacle to Junior Coaches.

Civilization's existence will not hinge on whether any of my sides win their respective Junior Sport grades.

Whilst in a whole participation in sport is great, especially in the younger Junior grades, Juniors also need to learn to win and lose..... How is it possible to create the next Olympic Athletes when it's just about 'taking part'....

I see enough children through work that the second they don't win a 'fun' game (and I'm not talking about a proper game here, even a simple game like Octopus!) end up in tears because they are always allowed to win...... It doesn't help society!

edit - that wasn't aimed at you foal.... I was just quoting you to carry on the conversation :)
