No problem with passionate cheering and bit of silly antics, however the bank "support" from a few, often is abusive to opposition players and the assistant ref on that side of the pitch. I am no prude, nor thin skinned, and can swear as good as anyone. I am all for creating an atmosphere, but wonder how many of the families that have kids there as match day mascots would actually comeback. You can hear the language whether you are on the bank or in the stand.
Yes I agree it can be abusive to the opposition and the ref. But I stand by my comment that I haven't heard them use naughty words other than tosser. It is football tho right? Let's use next weeks game as a wee tester to see how they behave and what they actually say.
And no, I'm not one of the 'retards' on the bank.
