Real shame that the year we finally have an exciting South Island League is the same year The Press have no local coverage.
You can thank Fairfax media (stuff?) for that. Them ditching the local newspapers was the last straw for me, I'm not giving them any more of my money.
And to think a few months back they had the gall to publish an article/opinion piece by Martin Van beyan (sp?) who wrote about how local journalism is struggling and needs support. Hello Martin, maybe its time to have a word with your boss?
