Interested to hear more about the term 'loan' player and the workings of the concept in NZ's amateur scene.

Have to registered for the club you are playing at and not a simple case for switching and playing between two (or more) clubs during the same season.

Would be impossible for a 'loaned out' player to transfer back to their 'parent' club after the transfer deadline, unless it was between two different Federations.

It is still a very grey area about a player only allowed to play for two clubs during a season. If a player goes from Club A (and plays) and then to Club B (and plays) and then wants to return back to Club A. Is this their second or third club?   .
